During our time in Norwich we´ve met Jill, an English teacher. With her, we´ve had some good times learning English, so I would like you to have the same opportunity of learning as we´ve had.
Full Immersion English Courses
Courses offered for just a weekend or up to a month
Come and eat, drink and breathe English in a Victorian terraced house close to the city centre of delightful Norwich.
“Live in” with a qualified English teacher with many years’ teaching experience.
Everything you do will be in English! Lessons, chatting, dining, TV, radio and films, sightseeing, excursions……
You will have a comfortable, centrally heated room of your own.
All your meals will be provided and you will be able to enjoy excellent home cooking.
Lessons will be tailor made to suit your requirements.
I usually offer 3 hours a day but if you want more this can be arranged.
I can offer general English lessons at your own level or exam preparation for the Cambridge exams (PET, FCE, CAE), IELTS or ESOL. I can offer courses for teachers too, on communicative English teaching techniques and tips. If you need English for special purposes this might also be possible. Let me know and we can discuss possibilities.
Afternoon activities will be varied, ranging from guided tours of the lovely, historic city of Norwich with its beautiful cathedral and covered market, exploring the lesser known back lanes, a visit to the Sainsbury Centre of Visual Arts, trips to the beautiful north Norfolk coast, Suffolk coastal villages or the Norfolk Broads. I would accompany you on at least 4 afternoon trips per week and we would chat along the way.
London and Cambridge are within easy reach and day trips could be arranged, either accompanied or on your own.
After a delicious evening meal and chatting at the table, evenings might be spent at the cinema or theatre, at a traditional pub or simply at home with me, watching BBC TV or films or even playing Scrabble.
A standard week’s course would comprise:
- All meals and accommodation
- 15 hours of lessons
- 4 accompanied afternoon activities
- 3 accompanied evening activities
- Lots of time for discussions and chatting to really use and improve your English
- Unlimited access to TV, radio and broadband
The price is £550 for a standard week.
Variations from the standard can be arranged and priced accordingly.
